My name is Dan, but people call me HiTech.
I like to make, break, and fix things. Fun little projects at home, mainly related to automation, data visualization, and technology. I volunteer for NYC Mesh, where I get my daily dose of networking and communication. For work, I contract within aerospace and defense, on national impact programs.
Working DIY projects at home, volunteering with small groups, and large programs at the office provides me with a unique perspective that keeps me fresh, nimble, and energetic.
After years of detailing my thoughts and projects on other platforms, I figured it was time to make a page of my own. I hope my stream of consciousness is helpful to you in a meaningful way. Maybe I will infect you with the same curiosity that sent me down this rabbit hole.
I call Brooklyn home, where I spend time with my cat, while I work and live in a loft.
